SAINT YVES CHAPEL
This Flamboyant Gotthic chapel, restored in the 15th century, was built for Saint Yves Hospital, before being turned into an ironmonger's in the 19th century. Today, it is home to Rennes Tourist information Centre. Its beautiful decor, both inside and out, abounds in surprising sculptures - animals stickng out their tongues, a sleeping rabbit, a mishievous cat and wicked and amused faces.
CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PETER
Restored and decorated in the second half of the 19th century, this cathedral holds many treasures, including a Roman high altar, impressive pipe organ, paintings and remarkable vaults. The Cathedral of Saint Peter has witnessed important in the history of both Brittany and France, such as the coronation of the dukes and duchesses of Brittany.
